Born on April 5, 1996, in Casablanca, Morocco, to Moroccan parents (both from Casablanca), Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti grew up in a football-oriented environment. His father, a former amateur goalkeeper, inspired his early interest in the sport. Tagnaouti spent his childhood playing football in the streets of Casablanca and developed a passion for goalkeeping.

At the age of eight, Tagnaouti joined the Wydad AC academy, where he began his formal training as a goalkeeper. His dedication and talent were evident, and he quickly progressed through the youth ranks. Tagnaouti’s impressive performances in the youth teams earned him a place in the senior squad of Wydad AC in 2016.

Tagnaouti’s career took off as he became the first-choice goalkeeper for Wydad AC. His agility, reflexes, and command of the penalty area have made him a key player for the club and the Moroccan national team.
