Born on November 7, 2000, in Mechelen, Belgium, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Tangier and his mother from Tetouan), Anass Zaroury grew up in a multicultural environment. His parents moved to Belgium in the late 1990s, and Zaroury developed a passion for football at an early age, playing in local clubs.

At the age of nine, Zaroury joined the youth academy of KV Mechelen, where his talent as a winger was quickly recognized. His technical skills, speed, and dribbling ability were honed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In 2019, Zaroury made his professional debut with Lommel SK in the Belgian First Division B. His impressive performances earned him a move to Charleroi in 2021. Zaroury’s journey from Mechelen to the top tier of Belgian football showcases his determination and talent.
