Born on April 19, 2000, in Casablanca, Morocco, into a family of footballers (his father is from Essaouira and his mother from Casablanca), Azzedine Ounahi developed a passion for the round ball at an early age. He grew up in the vibrant district of Derb Ghallef, where street football was a daily activity.

At eight years old, Ounahi joined the prestigious Mohammed VI Football Academy, known for nurturing young Moroccan talents. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, he developed his technical skills and tactical understanding. His progress was swift, and by 2015, he was representing Morocco in the U-17 African Cup of Nations.

In 2018, Ounahi signed his first professional contract with RC Strasbourg Alsace after leaving the Mohammed VI Academy. Despite facing challenges in establishing himself in the first team, he gained valuable experience during a loan spell at US Avranches. His resilience and dedication to the sport are a testament to his passion and commitment.
