Born on November 13, 2001, in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Casablanca and his mother from Fes), Benjamin Bouchouari grew up in a multicultural environment. His parents moved to Belgium in the late 1990s, and Bouchouari developed a passion for football at an early age, playing in local clubs.

At the age of eight, Bouchouari joined the youth academy of KRC Genk, where his talent as a midfielder was quickly recognized. His technical skills, vision, and creativity on the field were honed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In 2021, Bouchouari made his professional debut with KRC Genk’s first team. His impressive performances earned him a move to Saint-Étienne in 2022. Bouchouari’s journey from Heusden-Zolder to the top tier of Belgian and French football showcases his determination and talent.
