Born on September 30, 1993, in Casablanca, Morocco, to Moroccan parents (both from Casablanca), Badr Benoun grew up in a football-oriented environment. His father, a former amateur player, inspired his early interest in the sport. Benoun spent his childhood playing football in the streets of Casablanca.

At the age of eight, Benoun joined the Raja Casablanca academy, where he began his formal football education. His talent as a central defender quickly became evident, and he progressed through the ranks of the academy.
