Born on November 28, 1996, in Goulmima, Morocco, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Goulmima and his mother from Ouarzazate), Abdelhamid Sabiri moved to Germany at a young age with his family. Growing up in Frankfurt, Sabiri developed a strong passion for football, playing in the local parks with his friends.

Sabiri’s formal football journey began when he joined the youth academy of SV Darmstadt 98 at the age of nine. His talent quickly became apparent, and he was soon scouted by 1. FC Nürnberg, where he continued his development.

At 17, Sabiri moved to the academy of Sportfreunde Siegen, where he honed his skills further. His impressive performances caught the attention of Huddersfield Town in England, and he signed his first professional contract with them in 2017. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new country and a higher level of competition, Sabiri’s dedication and hard work saw him rise through the ranks and make his debut in the Premier League.
