Born on September 17, 2003, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Rabat and his mother from Casablanca), Chadi Riad grew up in a football-loving family. His parents moved to Spain in the early 2000s, and Riad developed a passion for football at a young age, playing in local clubs.

At the age of eight, Riad joined the youth academy of RCD Mallorca, where his talent as a central defender was quickly recognized. His technical skills and defensive abilities were honed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In 2019, Riad moved to FC Barcelona’s youth academy, La Masia, where he continued his development. His impressive performances in youth competitions have earned him a place in Barcelona B, and he is seen as a promising talent for the future of Moroccan and Spanish football.
