Born on June 22, 2004, in Montpellier, France, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Casablanca and his mother from Fes), Khalil Fayad grew up in a multicultural environment. His parents moved to France in the early 2000s, and Fayad developed a passion for football at a young age, playing in local clubs.

At the age of eight, Fayad joined the youth academy of Montpellier HSC, where his talent as a midfielder was quickly recognized. His technical skills, vision, and creativity on the field were honed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In 2021, Fayad made his professional debut with Montpellier HSC’s first team. His impressive performances have established him as one of the promising talents for the future of Moroccan and French football.
