Born on April 20, 2001, in Utrecht, Netherlands, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Casablanca and his mother from Rabat), Ibrahim Salah grew up in a football-loving family. His parents moved to the Netherlands in the late 1990s, and Salah developed a passion for football at a young age, playing in local clubs.

At the age of nine, Salah joined the youth academy of FC Utrecht, where his talent as a winger was quickly recognized. His technical skills, speed, and dribbling ability were honed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In 2019, Salah moved to the youth academy of KRC Genk, where he continued his development. His impressive performances in youth competitions have earned him a place in the senior squad, and he is seen as a promising talent for the future of Moroccan and Belgian football.
