Born on June 12, 1998, in Casablanca, Morocco, to Moroccan parents (both from Casablanca), Hamza Igamane grew up in a football-loving family. His father, a former amateur player, inspired his early interest in the sport. Igamane spent his childhood playing football in the streets of Casablanca.

At the age of eight, Igamane joined the Wydad AC academy, where he began his formal football education. His talent as a midfielder was quickly recognized, and he progressed through the ranks of the academy. His impressive performances in youth competitions earned him a place in the senior squad of Wydad AC in 2018.

Igamane’s career has been characterized by his technical skills, vision, and work ethic. He continues to play a crucial role for Wydad AC in the Moroccan Botola Pro and the CAF Champions League.
