Born on April 16, 2004, in Els Hostalets de Pierola, Spain, to Moroccan parents (his father is from Tangier and his mother from Tetouan), Ilias Akhomach grew up in a multicultural environment. His parents moved to Spain in the early 2000s, and Akhomach developed a passion for football at a young age, playing in local clubs.

At the age of seven, Akhomach joined the youth academy of FC Barcelona, La Masia, where his talent as a winger was quickly recognized. His technical skills, speed, and dribbling ability were honed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

In 2020, Akhomach made his debut with Barcelona B, and his impressive performances have earned him opportunities with the senior team. He is seen as one of the promising talents for the future of Moroccan and Spanish football.
