Born on November 14, 1997, in Leiderdorp, Netherlands, (to a Moroccan father from Al Hoceima and a Dutch mother), Noussair Mazraoui developed a passion for football at an early age. He grew up in a multicultural family where football was important. His father, a passionate supporter of the Moroccan national team, instilled in him a love for the sport and encouraged him to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer.

At the age of 7, Noussair Mazraoui joined the Almere City Academy, where he rose through the ranks of the youth teams. In 2013, he was scouted by Ajax Amsterdam, one of the most prestigious clubs in the Netherlands, and joined their training center. He quickly distinguished himself with his technique, speed, and versatility, becoming a key player in Ajax’s youth teams. In 2017, at the age of 19, he signed his first professional contract with Ajax Amsterdam.
